Steve Harvey Writes About His Faith, His Message Is Even Making Non-Believers Reconsider
Steve Harvey is an unabashed Christian and often speaks about his love of God on camera. But during one podcast, Steve took things to the next level and shared a bit of advice that's helped him through incredibly tough periods in his life.
His words are going viral for a very important reason....
Before sharing his thought via podcast, Steve took to Instagram to share his thoughts about personal pain and the role God plays in healing:
"I spent a lot years looking for comfort in a lot of other places.
Peace of mind comes from having faith.
Faith is believing in something even when you don't have all the answers. It's some things I'm going through right now.
I don't know how I'm going to get through them. But I do know that God will get me through them. Trouble don't last always. I know that for a fact."
The sound advice was inspired by his own personal struggles, and it made even the most staunch nonbelievers reconsider their problems in a religious light.
But Steve didn't stop there, on his subsequent podcast "I Am Steve Harvey," he spoke about the problems in life that you just can't control - and how faith can guide you through the tough times.
"A lot of times you having problems that you don't have any control over, or sometimes you got some problems that just require some working out.
But if the Devil got you so focused on the problem, you don't look at the outcome. And the outcome that you're looking for is the hopefulness, the faith part that allows you to go ahead and settle down and deal with everything - knowing that God's gonna make it alright.
Knowing that you will get through this.
Knowing that this too shall pass. Understanding that trouble don't last always."
Knowing God can take your hand during life's most challenging times is a relief that most of us need!
