Mom Shares Photo Of 14-Month-Old Daughter's Eviction Notice, Sign Garners Thousands Of Responses

You arrive home after a tiresome day at work, only to be met with an unexpected, bright orange sign on the front door. You didn't think it was possible - but yes, your day just got worse. In almost every case, eviction notices elicit feelings of fear, despair, and even anger. However, the following situation is different...
When one mom shared a picture of her sobbing toddler receiving an eviction notice, she had a very unique and special reason for doing so. Believe it or not, this "eviction" evokes feelings of surprise, and of overwhelming joy!
Sharana Horton recently made the news after posting an image of her 14-month-old daughter with an eviction notice. This unique birth announcement on Instagram shows the notice displayed on the front of the toddler's crib - along with the devastated "tenant," tears streaming down her face, crying and clinging to the railing of her bed.
The posted message reads as follows,
"EVICTION NOTICE: Please Note That Your "Only Child" Status Will Expire Within 18 Weeks. You are required to VACATE the Premises as a New Tenant is Expected on June 25, 2017. - Thanks, Management aka Mommy and Da Da"
And just below the typed eviction explanation - a heartwarming black-and-white sonogram photo of this family's newest addition.
It was a random comment that "Da Da" made which inspired the whole eviction/birth announcement idea!
Aaron Horton returned home one afternoon, only to find his wife cleaning out the toddler's bedroom to prepare for the arrival of the new baby. Being funny, he said, "Who's getting evicted?!" And the rest is history...
Although the reaction of the child in the picture is probably representative of how many people would respond to an eviction notice - something else was bothering this little one. In order to take the perfect photo, Sharana and Aaron took away their daughter's snack. And like an actress on Broadway, this tantrum-ing tot gave just the all-star performance her parents were looking for - receiving her snack back only seconds later.
This brilliant baby announcement has received over 15,000 likes on Instagram, and is continuing to warm hearts everywhere!
Why go typical and predictable - when thinking outside of the "baby announcement box" is far more fun? Share this adorable story with your mommy friends and baby-loving family, and spread smiles today!
