Girl With Dwarfism Has Always Dreamt Of Meeting Belle, Ends Up In Tears After Belle's Remark

Disney World has a way of making just about any kid's dreams come true. Just ask a sweet little girl by the name of Daisy! Her chance meeting with a Disney princess has made her believe that anything is possible. But, it almost didn't happen.
The poor girl has been battling through surgery after surgery her entire life. From her head to her legs, there's no part of her that hasn't been touched by a surgical knife.
That's when the Make-A-Wish foundation stepped in to send Daisy on a dream vacation to meet a princess! But, after Daisy arrived at Disney World, Belle from Beauty and the Beast asked the little girl a question that made her break down and cry.
The photo of Daisy wiping away her tears will tug at your heartstrings.
Daisy was born with Achondroplasia, which is a form of dwarfism. As a result of her condition, the brave girl has had to endure painful surgeries on her neck, back, legs and neck. After watching Daisy go through all of these procedures, a caring nurse at Children's Health in Houston, Texas decided to nominate Daisy for Make-A-Wish, who in turn sent Daisy and her family on a fabulous trip to the magic kingdom!
7-year-old Daisy loves Disney, but her favorite character has always been Belle, from Beauty and the Beast. And it's no wonder, since the two are practically twins with their gorgeous dark hair and beautiful skin.
Daisy also chose to meet Louis Tomlinson from the boy band One Direction, but she wanted to be able to share something with her brother and sister. I guess that means the charming little cutie wanted Louis all for herself!
To prepare for her magical experience at Disney Land, Daisy dolled herself up in a yellow Belle dress with a matching tiara. She was super excited when she got to meet the "real" Belle in person - the endearing photo pretty much speaks for itself!
While Daisy's family was getting ready to tackle the rest of the magic kingdom, they told Belle the real reason why Daisy was at Disney World. After she heard the touching story, Belle didn't hesitate to ask Daisy something very special.
"So Daisy just met Belle..and Belle asked if we had plans after...when we said no, she said 'Great! What if I take you on a tour of France?'"
That's when the little girl broke down and cried - she couldn't wipe away her tears of joy fast enough! Daisy's aunt Patricia said:
"Daisy was jumping up and down from excitement and was balling her eyes out when Belle told her she would take her on the tour. Daisy was sobbing from happiness, and everyone around her was crying, too."
The mini princess-in-training couldn't believe that her favorite fairytale character wanted to spend time with her, and even give her family a personalized tour! Life just couldn't get any better than this.
Disney characters are trained to stay in character. They're not supposed to let their own true self show through. But, the woman who played Belle couldn't help herself.
"Disney characters never break character, but Belle almost started crying when she said goodbye to Daisy [at the end of the tour] because she was so touched."
Wow. Disney World can truly make magical moments happen - even for grown ups!
This just tugged at my heart. What a fantastic experience! Daisy got to be a princess for a day instead of having to worry about doctor's appointments. She got to experience life as a carefree kid. Kudos to Make-A-Wish for continuing to make children's dreams come true!
