Man Panics When Bank Card Declines $110 Of Gas. Stranger Approaches With 1 Question He'll Never Forget

In today's day and age, many of us don't carry around cash to pay for our daily purchases. We put all of our money into the bank and trust that when we need to buy something, the bank cards will work properly!
Unfortunately for one young man from Australia who was in the middle of transferring banks, things didn't work out as planned....
After filling up his tank and buying coffee at a local gas station, Tyson Crawley joined the checkout line so he pay for the items with his new bank card. Just before he reached the cashier, Tyson realized he didn't put the card back in his wallet after activation!
Panicked, Tyson reached for his old bank card, but then he remember all of his money was transferred to the new account. That's when someone amazing offered to help.
Tyson shared what happened next on his Facebook page:
The following quote was edited for the sake of understanding.
"So today something incredible happened to me...
6:20 AM I was at the service station, filled up my [car] with diesel, rolled into the shop, grabbed a couple iced coffees, of course, and went to pay for them. There was a man just before me who grabbed a [hot] coffee, paid for it and left.
Last night I had transferred all my money into a new bank account, which once I got to the register I realized I didn't have my new bank card on me.
I tried using one that had a joint account to it but I could not for the life of me remember my PIN number! After searching through my iPhone bank app to figure out how to reset my pin, I had failed. My dog was barking wildly, I had to get to work, and I was starting to freak [out]."
"This man walks back in [and asks], 'Do you need some money?'
I replied, 'No, no, no! I just can't remember my pin!'
He then continues, 'It's fine.'
I wasn't quite sure what he meant, but he walked around me towards the register.
Within a second, I realized [what he was doing] and said, 'No, no, no please! It's ok! I have the money I just can't remember my pin!'
The attendant at the register was just as [shocked] as me.
He replies, 'It's a free country isn't it? I can help a brother out, can't I?'
I was absolutely stunned, I couldn't believe it, [the bill was more than] $110! Not an amount we just throw away.
He convinced me it was okay, after I ran out of options I gratefully accepted.
I said, 'Pease mate, give me your number, I will contact you and pay you back immediately, please can you write down your number?'
The attendant handed him the receipt, she passed him a pen, he wrote down on it, folded it and handed it to me. Overwhelmed and grateful, I said, 'Please take a photo with me.'
He said, 'Sure!'
He then left and said, 'Have a good day.'
I turned around to the attendant and she said, 'Well that doesn't happen everyday!'
I told her I was [just speechless by his kindness], she replies, 'It's your lucky day.'
I turned around to leave, and he was gone. I went outside to my [car] and could not see him anywhere. Then I opened the receipt to look at his name and number, and this picture says it all...
Please be beautiful people, and remember it's not about keeping up with the Joneses, having the biggest house, most expensive car, the largest bank account. [Instead], work with each other.
After all, what is money compared to the quality of human life?"
Not many people would step up to cover a bill that large, or any bill for that matter! John is an incredible person and Tyson was sure to pass along the kindness shortly after. Be sure to notice the three very important words he wrote on the bottom of the receipt!
