They Open Front Door To Find Matthew McConaughey, Not Knowing He's There With Special Gift

Hollywood heartthrob Matthew McConaughey woos women in his hot hit movies, so it's no surprise that plenty of ladies were shocked when he showed up on their doorstep recently. Not only were they startled to see the hunky Matthew gracing their doorway, but it was what he held in his hands that surprised them.
Matthew is known not just as an A-list actor, solid spouse and fun-loving dad, but he's also a philanthropist. He holds numerous charities near and dear to his heart and is always quick to lend a helping hand.
As a native of Texas, Matthew has contributed to hurricane and wildfire relief efforts, and he and his wife Camila are founders of the just keep livin' foundation designed to introduce and maintain fitness and wellness programs in inner-city schools.
The foundation also has helped fund charter schools and several other health initiatives. But this time, Matthew decided to take a personal approach to helping others out.
In celebration of his 48th birthday, Matthew decided to pass out 4,500 frozen turkeys donated by Butterball to the residents of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. He went door to door, surprising people and ushering in the Thanksgiving holiday with the free turkeys.
They never expected this to happen to them. Matthew was so excited to participate!
The turkey giveaway, called "Wild Turkey Gives Back," is a service project created by Kentucky bourbon distillery Wild Turkey. Matthew was joined by 250 other volunteers to distribute the gobblers.
People could not believe their eyes when they spied Matthew holding a frozen turkey around town. One resident named Carrie couldn't believe the star was handing her a turkey, let alone spending his birthday to help out with a great holiday project.
Matthew modestly dismissed the praise people were pouring on him. He noted that with the success he's been blessed with, he feels compelled to give back however he can.
"We believe in our family that the more you're thankful for, the more you're going to create in your life to be thankful for."
A camera crew followed Matthew around to people's houses. The squeals of shock and delight that the women elicited when they laid eyes on him are just too funny.
