Thanks to smart phones, and eager moms and dads everywhere, kids these days can count on a picture of every adorable thing they ever did. Of course we mean that in the best possible way!
Adding to this completely necessary overload of cuteness is Kate Middleton, aka Duchess of Cambridge, who recently celebrated a new milestone in her daughter's life.
Princess Charlotte who will soon celebrate her third birthday in May, recently joined her brother, Prince George, by officially enrolling in school. Charlotte will attend the Willcocks Nursery School in London.
And like any parent who can't simultaneously stop gushing and crying over how big their child is getting, proud mom Kate snapped the photos of her adorable daughter on her big day.
For those of us who keep up with the Royal family business, we know how rare it is to see personal pictures that aren't taken by the official Kensington Palace media staff.
But in this case, even the professionals couldn't deny just how good of a job Kate did in snapping that picture of Charlotte, all smiles and ready for this new adventure!
And just like her mom's impeccable taste, Charlotte is dressed in the cutest pea-coat with matching Maryjanes, gray stockings, and a pink scarf to match her pink polka-dot backpack.
According to the Daily Mail, the red coat is by Amaia Kids and retails for £120 and the backpack by Cath Kidston also has ponies printed on it, matching the Queen's love for horses as well!
The Daily Mail also reported that this isn't the first time Kate has found herself on the other side of the camera. Some of the other milestones that Kate has captured of her children and officially released to the public, include the first pictures of Princess Charlotte after her birth, Prince George's first day at nursery school, and of course the several birthdays in-between.
Her enthusiasm for photography is well known and she also holds a lifetime honorary membership in the Royal Photographic Society which was bestowed upon her last year.
Kate, who celebrated her birthday on January 9th, turned 36-years-old and is pregnant with her third child. And much like the rest of the world, we can hardly wait to check out her handy camera work in the future as their family grows!
