Chick-Fil-A Hasn’t Seen Couple In Months Leading To Search For Answers Leaving Family In Tears

Bobbie and Richard Watkins are one of the cutest sets of grandparents. Everywhere they go, people gravitate toward them, especially the staff at their local Chick-fil-A where they eat twice a week, every week.
In fact, they consider the staffers there to be good friends, almost like family. Even though their granddaughter Lindsay Naramore McGuffey of Georgia checks in on them regularly, the workers at Chick-fil-A became alarmed when they discovered that her grandparents had gone missing.
The staffers loved the Watkins and would adorn their table with flowers for special occasions. They'd even treat the sweet couple to a lunch on the house occasionally.
"They went above and beyond for my sweet grandparents. But that's not all...."
Lindsay shared on Facebook that her grandfather's health had diminished and he was struggling to rebound. That meant he and Bobbie couldn't get out and about as much as they used to, including making their twice weekly trips to their favorite restaurant.
When the staffers at Chick-fil-A noticed their repeat absences, they reached out to Lindsay and other relatives. Bobbie and Richard had shared with the workers that their children and grandchildren taught in the local school system, so they sought out school employees to share their concerns about the Watkins being gone for so long.
"...they knew something wasn’t right when they hadn’t seen ‘Bobbie and Richard’ in a while."
But since they didn't know Bobbie and Richard's last names, their first search for information led them nowhere. So the Chick-fil-A employees checked out local churches, searched the schools and looked high and low for the couple.
Finally, they found them! When the restaurant employees learned what had happened to Richard, they knew they had to take action.

They drove more than 30 minutes to take them their favorite Chick-fil-A menu items to their own home. Lindsay could not believe it!
“When my Nana sent me this picture, I cried. To me, my grandparents are saints — But when I see other people love them and care for them just as much, it is so special. The part that touched my family the most was seeing the impact my grandparents had on people they encountered every day, and seeing those people go the extra mile to see them, not because they had to, but because in their hearts, they wanted to. The food was just an added bonus."
When Lindsay stopped by to check on her grandparents that same night, her grandpa could not stop talking about the kindness shown to them by the Chick-fil-A employees. She thanked her lucky stars that this pair of people were her grandparents.
The generosity shown by the Chick-fil-A staffers to the Watkins is absolutely wonderful! Lindsay said this gesture is something that they will never forget.
