Meghan Markle's Past Resurfaces With Classmate's Letter

While watching American actress Meghan Markle wed Prince Harry in a glamorous televised ceremony, Meghan's former high school classmate Michelle Fanara had a flashback to a darker time in her past. Painful memories, cruel comments and unthinkable harassment ran through her mind. By all accounts, her high school years weren't the easiest.
When Michelle was just a teenager, her great-aunt had passed away and it broke her heart.
She began to pull away from others, withdraw from school activities and no one noticed her sinking into depression - no one except for Meghan...
Twenty years earlier, Meghan penned a heartfelt letter to Michelle hoping to buoy her during that difficult time. Michelle was shy, so to have someone outside her small circle of friends pay her attention meant the world. It wasn't until they exchanged yearbooks until Michelle really understood how much Meghan cared for her.
"I am here if you ever need me. I love you, Meghan."
Michelle rediscovered that letter she had tucked into her high school yearbook. While flipping through its pages during the royal wedding, she found another message from Meghan on the inside jacket. It was a blast from the past.
Both meaningful messages written by Meghan to Michelle "made all the difference in my world," she said. Knowing how passionate Meghan is as an adult with different plights and humanitarian efforts, it isn't surprising to anyone that Meghan would've taken the time to help a classmate through a rough spot.
With Meghan's help, Michelle was able to face the world and regroup following her aunt's passing. If Meghan wasn't by Michelle's side during that difficult time, she knows things could've gone down a much darker path...
