95-Year-Old Veteran Can't Ignore Scared Boy In Pool Risky Next Move Teaches Him Lesson He'll Never Forget

When you're a child, some things just seem so scary. A trip to the doctor, that noise in the closet, the gloomy darkness outside.
But all it takes is an awesome adult to help a nervous child overcome that fear. This gesture of kindness will never be forgotten.
A little boy at the local swimming pool was incredibly frightened of jumping off the diving board. When Daniel Biss noticed the child's paralyzing fear, he sprung into action.
Daniel, who survived World War II and the Korean War, knows a thing or two about nervousness and fear. This brave Air Force veteran was bound and determined to make sure the little boy quickly overcame his worries about the water splashing about below him.
Daniel decided to set a good example for the child, but first, the 95-year-old man had to steadily make his way to the diving board. Even though he's a senior citizen, Daniel is quite spry for someone in his 90s.
With a bit of assistance from his family, friends and a walking cane, Daniel slowly but surely climbed up the steps to the diving board. Then, he confidently walked to the edge.
Everyone thought he would simply jump into the pool as a show of support for the fearful little swimmer, but he shocked all of those watching him when he actually dove into the water! Daniels' daughter Christine Ross captured the startling footage of her dad in action.
Daniel's grandson Kevin Ross couldn't believe what he did either. Nor did Daniels' wife of 72 years, who also is a veteran who served in the Coast Guard.
"Little did we know he would actually dive. He said soon after this video that he wants to be seen around the world."
See how awesome this senior is for yourself in the video below. What a sweet thing he did!
