Staff Hear Pound On Door After Hours Only To Find Distraught Couple Desperate To Get Inside

Delicious food isn't the only thing that Chick-fil-A employees deliver it seems. As staffers at the Stone Ridge, Texas, location were closing up for the night, there was a pounding at the door.
On the other side of the glass was Robert Griffin and his wife Falon, whom he fondly calls Maggie. The couple had met a friend in the parking lot there who would be keeping an eye on their children while they headed to the hospital.
Falon was in the throes of labor. As Robert loaded their children into the friend's vehicle, Falon realized she urgently needed to use the restroom and she just couldn't wait.
Even though it was after 10 p.m. and the restaurant was closed for the night, employees still opened the door and let Falon in. They recognized immediately how critical the situation was.
Robert hustled into the restaurant to check on his wife after securing the kids safely in the friend's vehicle. Falon was shouting for his help from the bathroom stall.
It turned out that the little girl they were expecting didn't care that they weren't safely at the hospital yet. The baby had other plans.
"So there we were ... my wife and I in a tiny stall in the bathroom, and I could see the top of our little girl's head crowning as Maggie [Falon] was straddling the toilet. I told Maggie, 'sweetie, we are gonna have to do this right here, right now.'"
Robert braced himself to deliver his daughter in the bathroom stall at Chick-fil-A. Frighteningly, the baby had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck twice.
After managing to unwrap the cord without harming her, the trio waited for paramedics to arrive. Chick-fil-A employees gave Robert warm white towels from the kitchen to wrap the baby in.
Fifteen minutes after Gracelyn Mae Violet Griffin rushed into the world, the ambulance arrived to whisk mom and baby to the hospital. Despite her crazy start to life, Graceylyn and Falon both were in good condition, mom said.
"Our little nugget, Gracelyn Mae is the perfect addition to our family!!! We could not feel more blessed."

Chick-fil-A officials could not believe what had transpired at one of their locations. The local store owner where the birth took place offered the family a year of free food and Gracelyn was given a special keepsake birth certificate.
Since her first 15 minutes of life occurred at the eatery, the local owner also offered her a job at that location when she's ready to start working. How crazy is this birth story?
