Before the group entered Farmer Derek Klingenberg's empty silo, they practiced for weeks. They wanted to nail down every note before showcasing their sound in the big steel container. For some reason, everyone in the choir felt confident this was going to be the production of a lifetime - and it showed. The groups' dozens of talented musicians sang their hearts out as several others played their instruments flawlessly. Their sound reverberated off the silo's steel walls and the camera hanging overhead caught all of it!
As soon as they wrapped up "Down To The River To Pray," smiles spread from face to face. Everyone was proud of their performance and couldn't wait to share it with the world. Sure enough, people from all over the globe tuned in to watch the Bethel College Choir sing in such an unusual location. They've had more than 144,000 views in just a matter of days! Take a peek at their rendition of this classic hymn for yourself below.
