Some people in the world just have so much talented pouring from their souls that it's impossible to ignore. Such was the case for one young man named Mitchell Brunings.
After months of dedication, Mitchell stopped by The Voice Holland to blow away the audience and judges with his incredible voice. Now we're all wondering how we enjoyed listening to music before hearing Mitchell's impressive voice – his talent is something we should experience...
From the time Mitchell was a child, he can remember singing for his friends and family. There was something about the experience that ignited his soul; the rush he felt walking on stage was something he craved in boring moments. The crowd's cheering roared when sitting in silence at home. And he could still feel the microphone in his grip hours after he left the venue.
It was clear to Mitchell that he was meant to be a performer. That's why he pursued an audition on The Voice Holland! He wanted everyone around the globe to know his name and immediately recognize his reggae sound!
Rather than shy away from one of the greats, Mitchell decided to tackle the popular Bob Marley track, "Redemption Song" for his audition. Not only was Mitchell able to imitate Marley's sound, but he even added a little bit of his own spice to make the audition memorable.
When the judges whipped around their chairs, they were shocked to see that it wasn't Marley singing for them from beyond the grave!
Unsurprisingly, Mitchell selected Dutch singing superstar Ilse DeLange as his coach and made it all the way to the championship round in the season. While he didn't win the top prize, Mitchell was honored as runner-up and has pursued music ever since.
We can't wait to see more of Mitchell in the future – we know he'll reach the stars!
