Singer Guitarist Paralyzes Judges And Crowd During Audition

Imagine sitting in the big red judges chairs on The Voice, listening to performer after performer and trying to pick just the right one. It has to be a difficult task.
But when singer and guitarist Michael Lee takes the stage for his blind audition, it didn't take long for Adam Levine to hit his buzzer and spin around. Jennifer Hudson followed suit immediately thereafter.
So what set Michael Lee apart from the others? He blew everyone away with his husky rendition of the legendary B.B. King's song "The Thrill is Gone."
So far, the video of his performance has garnered more than two million views and we can see why! This raspy sounding singer stunned the judges not just by performing such a soulful blues song, but he also played a mean guitar.
He no sooner began playing and singing when a couple of the judges shout, "Hey, hey!" They each bobbed their heads, immersed in his stellar performance.
Blake Shelton summed it up in one word: "Wow." Michael Lee worked the crowd and even drew Adam to his feet.
When he was almost done, Jennifer took off her shoe and threw it at him! At the very last minute just before the final note was sung, Blake hit his buzzer and spun around, putting his hat in the ring for this contestant from Texas.
"You beat me to death with that vocal performance."
All three judges who hit their buzzer for Michael Lee wanted him on their team. Kelly Clarkson was mad at herself for not responding.
Check out how fantastic he sounds in the video below. You'll get a kick out of the judges' back and forth banter and discover who he chose.
