Incredible Dual Voice Singer Shows Off Skills On Ellen

We've heard talented singers in the past. Some can hit the highest of high notes. Others have such deep, soothing voices, it's hard to imagine they ever went through puberty! But, unlike any other musician in the industry, Marcelito Pomoy has the ability to do both.
His voice has made waves from one corner of the globe to another - and it eventually caught the attention of none other than daytime television's biggest star, Ellen DeGeneres...
As soon as Ellen's team saw Marcelito's videos online, they knew they had to book him. The team sent him a message on Facebook and eagerly awaited his reply. Marcelito, on the other hand, was skeptical about the validity of the message and told Ellen later on that he didn't believe it was real.
With the help of a translator, Marcelito said:
The following quote has been loosely translated from Filipino.
"Actually, I wasn't really expecting it. Then someone sent me a Facebook message from EllenTV.com. [Even after] we [talked on] Skype, I still didn't believe it. Then I got my ticket saying I'm going to Ellen."
The reality of his performance did set in until he was on the plane headed toward Los Angeles, California.
Once Ellen's interview was over Marcelito stepped on the famous stage and belted "The Prayer" like he had done countless times in the past. Not only was he able to nail the male part of the song, but his versatile voice made it easy for him to tackle the female sections as well.
The audience was blown away - several of them even were caught wiping away tears from their eyes. How could an ordinary human being have such an extraordinary set of vocal skills?
By the time Marcelito was done with "The Prayer," Ellen was gearing up for his next song "Beauty and the Beast." If there were any cracks in his talents, they would surely show with this song. To everyone's surprise, he did just as well with his second performance as he did with the first.
From that moment on, Ellen and everyone in the audience was a life-long Marcelito Pomoy fan!
