Barbra Streisand Goes For A Wacky Carpool Karaoke Ride

James Corden is used to dealing with all levels of celebrity during his hit segment "Carpool Karaoke." From Justin Beiber to Stevie Wonder, Adele to Elton John, James has sung his heart out with the best of them. Even though he's not the best singer himself, James loves interviewing the world's best musicians and picking their minds about the day's hottest topics!
While each drive provides tons of laughter and a few moments of skilled singing (on behalf of the guests), his most recent trek with Barbra Streisand takes the cake. He had no idea he was in for such a wild ride...
Shortly after getting in the car with Barbra, she let her eyes drift off the road momentarily. Barbra squealed with fear and quickly admitted that maybe she shouldn't be the one in the driver's seat. In fact, her last driving test went quite poorly.
She detailed the driving debacle that made her give up her license for good:
"I [once] found myself turning into the up-ramp of a highway, and the cars were coming down. I thought, 'That's it - I'm not driving anymore.'"
Instead of being a poor sport about their certain death ride, James cracked a joke. Why not leave this world laughing?
"I've got to be honest, if this is how I go out, I'll take it! It's a good way to go. 'How did he die? Barbra Streisand.'"
But the hilarity didn't end there. Barbra revealed that she isn't the best when it comes to technology, which forces her to reach out to some of her most tech-savvy Hollywood friends.
Barbra realized Siri, Apple's digital assitant, misprounces her name when it speaks aloud. Instead of sucking it up, she called Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, and personally asked him to take care of the matter.
"People still mispronounce my name. What's a better way to change my name than to speak to Apple, Tim Cook, and say, ‘It would be so helpful is Siri said my name right. Is that possible? ... I once called Steve Jobs, you know, when I couldn't figure something out on my computer."
Obviously, it pays to be Barbra Streisand! We can't even get our children to text back when we have a question about FaceTime, Facebook or anything of the sort.
In addition to her beautiful voice (of which he got to experience first-hand), Barbra's goofy personality will be something James remembers for the rest of his life. Now that he's safe and sound out of the car, that is!
