With the holiday season in full swing, The Piano Guys are ready to showcase their love for this time of the year. They've prepared a breathtaking version of "Where Are You Christmas" along with one of their member's daughters, Sarah.
A packed audience watched with bated breath as the men worked their way through the hit from How The Grinch Stole Christmas. They knew this number was going to be one they'd remember for the rest of their lives.
Sure enough, Sarah, her father and the others delivered a rendition of "Where Are You Christmas" for the ages!
The Piano Guys have been upfront about their devotion to God from the moment they stepped into the limelight. In an interview with Deseret News, all four men opened up about how faith shaped their careers.
Cellist Steven Sharp Nelson told the publication that He guided their path the entire way.
"It feels like it's just happened for a reason higher than ourselves. We don't feel like it's about the four of us, or even about our families. We feel like there's something bigger or it wouldn't be happening like this... There are so many wonderful, amazing, spiritual people that are [a] fulfillment of the scripture that they're true seekers of God. It's been wonderful to meet them."
From their unimaginable success to their millions of devoted fans, Nelson knows this has to be God's work.
The group's producer-songwriter Al Van Der Beek says he views their success as a way to honor Him. Rather than use their fame to splurge on big-ticket items and outlandish purchases, they're as responsible as. With so many eyes on them, Van Der Beek knows he has to act righteously.
"With the success and everything comes a deep responsibility for using those talents that God has blessed us with in the right way."
Following the words of his bandmates, pianist Jon Schmidt (Sarah's father) admitted that the best part of his job is sharing faith with the fans. Something about their music brings people of faith together. Everyone wants to praise God for the many blessings He's bestowed – and The Piano Guys are no different.
"I've had several people after shows come up and say, 'Can we just have a prayer with you?' And I love that. That is so cool."
Their unwavering faith is one of the many reasons why they cover so many Christmas songs when this time of the year rolls around. There isn't a better way to show their appreciation for the holiday and share the word of God. They're such an amazing group!
