Teen Loses Wallet Only To Get It Back In Mail With Note & New Addition Inside Leaving Him Shook

Most of us have lost or misplaced a valuable item at one time or another. Things like the keys to our cars or an expensive smartphone can certainly be replaced, but it's quite a hassle to do so! Unfortunately for Jeannie Shamatt's teenage son, Hunter, he lost the one thing that's the most inconvenient of them all - his wallet.
Hunter had all the usual fixin's in there - his cash, debit card, and ID. The family was traveling to Las Vegas for a wedding when he lost all his spending money. Although Vegas is known for being a playground for big kids, the real fun for Hunter didn't actually start until after he got back home and found his wallet...plus a whole lot more!
Hunter lost his wallet while flying on Frontier airlines, and when he didn't find anything wedged between the seats, it looked like it was gone for good. On her Facebook page, mom Jeannie said:
"On our way to Vegas for my daughters wedding last week, Hunter lost his wallet. Unfortunately it had 60.00 cash, his identification card, his signed paycheck and his debit card. Once we realized the wallet was missing, we called Frontier Airlines to see if someone turned it in."
It wasn't until after the wedding that Hunter discovered that someone had indeed found his wallet, but they purposely chose not to turn it into the airlines. Instead, this person had something more mischievous planned for the unsuspecting young man!
After Hunter feared the worst, he received a surprise package in the mail. It was his wallet, but it was a lot thicker than when he had lost it.
"After fearing the worst that everything was gone, tonight Hunter received a package in the mail with his wallet and a letter signed with only initials. On the envelope a return address out of Omaha from Applied Underwriters. We would love to thank the individual personally if we could find him or her. Please help share this post so we can find this amazing person."
Sure, it was pretty amazing that a Good Samaritan did the right thing and sent the wallet back to Hunter. But, it's what they put inside the wallet that left everyone stunned.
There was a note with the wallet that read:
"Hunter, found this on a Frontier flight from Omaha to Denver - row 12, seat F wedged between the seat and wall. Thought you might want it back. All the best, TB. P.S. I rounded your cash up to an even $100 - so you could celebrate getting your wallet back. HAVE FUN!!!"
After Jeannie's post gained national attention, she was able to connect with the cheeky gift-givers. In an update, Hunter's mom wrote:
"I try to teach my children to do the right things in life, help people when you can regardless of the out come. This story is more about restoring faith in people than anything. Everything in the wallet we could of replaced. We hear a lot of bad news but not enough good news. I personally want to thank Todd Brown and his wife for restoring faith that there are amazing people out there, the world is not as grim as it's being made out to be."
With people like Todd Brown and his wife gracing us with kindness, there's no end to the number of sweet surprises that may be in store for any one of us.
