People like to dance for many reasons. It releases your stress, keeps you in tune with your body, and lets you lose yourself to the music. Dance is also an art form that allows us to express our creativity and passion. For example, the graceful spins of a ballerina or the jaw-dropping moves of a hip-hop dancer.
Some of us are lucky enough to learn how to dance as kids. As the popular saying goes, "start them young!" Well, today you're about to see a tiny dancer showcase her adorable (and impressive!) moves. With her pink bow and tiny steps, we're pretty sure she'll be dancing her way into your heart in no time.
The Irish dance dates all the way back to the 18th and 19th century. It was taught by "traveling dance masters" across Ireland and has since been an important part of the country's culture. Through the years, the dance has developed in terms of style and practice.
Perhaps the most popular form of Irish dance is the modern Irish step dance. The dance movements are characterized by quick, precise movements on the feet and a rigid torso. Normally, the dance is performed with traditional Irish music. But the video you are about to see places an adorable twist to it.
Dressed to the nines, this adorable little girl is taken to the dance floor. She looks like a ray of sunshine with her baby doll dress on and a pink ribbon on top of her head. Then, she is urged by her dance teacher to show off her moves. The girl starts dancing like a professional. She taps one foot after another, no doubt winning the hearts of everyone in the audience. The best part is, this tiny dancer does it with a huge smile on her face!
At the end of the video, the whole group gathers around for the finale. The song "It's a Small World" plays in the background as the pint-sized dancers show off their best dance moves.
Irish dance group Fusion Fighters uploaded the clip on Facebook. The group is known for fusing traditional dance and modern music. One of their music recent vides was a remix of David Guetta's "Don't Leave Me Alone" featuring Anne Marie. The clip showed people around the world tap dancing to the modern tune.
If this awesome team noticed the little girl, then she's bound to have a bright future in Irish dancing! Who knows? She may just end up in the widely popular Broadway show, Riverdance.
