Celine Dion is probably one of the most famous and successful singers of her time. She is one of the best-selling Canadian artists with an all-time record sales of no less than 200 million copies across the globe. She's witty, talented, and full of passion for music and singing.
When Celine appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, however, her fans and the show's audience saw a different side of her. Surprisingly, she does a really good job in impersonating other artists.
Jimmy has this game on the show called Wheel of Musical Impressions where artists have to push a button to see which artist and song they need to copy.
Celine started the game and her first pick was Cher with the song "Frere Jacques", a popular nursery rhyme. Her version was really entertaining and she was clearly having fun, particularly since Cher is one of her friends. She really nailed the song!
Jimmy, on the other hand, picked Michael Jackson for the song "One Dance". And like Celine, his version was on point. It was effortless that both Celine and Jimmy mimicked the King of Pop perfectly even after Jimmy's part was done.
Celine's second pick was Rihanna and this time, she needed to sound like her for the song "Row, Row Your Boat". At first, she pretended like she's going to have a hard time singing the song but when the band started to play, Celine stood up and sang the popular nursery song to the tune of Rihanna's "Work". She even danced to the song!
For Celine's final pick, it was Sia for the song "Hush, Little Baby". Before she started singing the song, she stood up and asked Jimmy for something she could use to imitate Sia's wig. It was pretty funny as Jimmy could only offer a stuffed toy.
Celine's impersonation of Sia was a hit. In fact, she was even able to hit the same high notes Sia used for her song "Chandelier".
Well, that's not really that surprising. After all, Celine is one of those artists who are capable of singing really high notes effortlessly. She's able to deliver resonant belts and hold them for long periods of time without wavering. She has this sharpness in her voice that's able to pierce through heavy instrumentation.
Celine is known for her big hits that included "Because You Loved Me", "All by Myself", "It's All Coming Back to Me Now", and "The Power of Love". She also sang Titanic's soundtrack "My Heart Will Go On".
