6 Year Old Girl Wins Judges Over Singing La Vie En Rose

It has to be absolutely nerve-wracking to stand in the spotlight in front of a packed audience preparing to sing, knowing that all eyes are upon you, judging your every move. The backs of three big red chairs are all you have to stare at on The Voice.
It's amazing when little ones appear on televised talent competitions like The Voice France, to know that they have enough gumption to stand there and audition before everyone. Gloria is just six-years-old and seems unfazed by the fact that the three judges in the red chairs before her are the ones that will decide whether or not she goes home.
Gloria has a youthful sound, but her vocal range is that of a much older child. Her lilting voice lends a tender sound to such a serious song that she used to audition.
She selected Edith Piaf's song "La Vie en rose," or Life of Pink. Piaf was a French vocalist, songwriter, film actress and cabaret performer, and is one of France's most widely known international stars.
As soon as Gloria hits the chorus, Jenifer hits the buzzer and spins her chair around. It doesn't take long until Louis Bertignac and Garou smack the big red buzzer and lay eyes upon the little girl standing daintily before them.
None of the three judges can believe that this incredible voice is coming from such a tiny girl! Toward the end of her performance, one judge clutches his chest like he's cradling his heart and laid down across his chair, dramatically indicating how he had fallen in love with this little girl's performance.
Jenifer jumped to her feet and applauded when Gloria wrapped her performance. The little girl just stood there in disbelief at the judges' response.
