International superstar Susan Boyle was invited to compete on America's Got Talent: The Champions and during her first appearance on the show featuring the best of the best, she received a Golden Buzzer for her rendition of The Rolling Stones' 1971 hit "Wild Horses." The Scottish singer stunned everyone, including Mel B who hit the buzzer, raining golden streamers and confetti down upon her.
Receiving a Golden Buzzer meant that the 47-year-old Boyle automatically advanced to the finals. But a video of her next performance on the talent show has leaked in advance of the airing and her fans are going wild!
Donning a glittering sheath dress, Boyle sparkles on stage for her second round on the show. This is her first time competing in the United States since she made such a huge impression during Season 6 in 2011.
She's sold more than 20 million records, but still gets a bit nervous before performing. She shared with America's Got Talent: The Champions that "ever since I was a tiny tot, I loved to sing."
As a young girl, she was shy and nervous, but music and singing gave her confidence and strength, she confessed to America's Got Talent: The Champions. Her mother supported her and encouraged her to sing in their church choir.
After her mother passed away, Boyle finally summoned the courage to "chase my dream." With her mother's presence always near her, she did.
"Everybody has dreams, you have to follow those dreams. I feel I've been given that chance."
For her next performance, Boyle opted to sing the song that launched her career, "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables. With instrumentalists behind her and a backdrop of trees with serene lighting setting the stage, everyone wildly applauds when they realized what song she had chosen to perform.
Fog drifts out across the stage as she sings the melancholy song. Before she ever hits the chorus, the audience leaps to their feet and erupts into applause.
The judges seem to love the performance, beaming as they watch her. Heidi Klum even shouted "Yay!"
When Boyle was through, the judges reward her with a standing ovation and she blows a kiss back at them, politely nods her head and thanks everyone. The judges have nothing but praise for this person that helped give America's Got Talent a huge push years ago.
Mel B describes Boyle as "classy and elegant and effortless." She tells her if she had another Golden Buzzer, she'd push it again.
Howie Mandel tells her that the word "champion" isn't enough to describe her, that she's so much more. Klum informs her that she had goosebumps.
Simon Cowell shares how her performance took him back to years ago when she first appeared which prompts his confession. He then goes on to tell her, "You are truly a champion."
