It's always nice to relax in front of the television after a long day of work. One of the best ways to pass time is to switch on the television and then watch that show you've been following. Speaking of which, nothing comes to mind more than The Voice. We bet most of you look forward to a new episode every week. We can't blame you, The Voice is so addictive!
The blind auditions are arguably the best part of The Voice. For those who don't know, the blind audition is the first stage of the popular reality singing competition. Hundreds of hopefuls sing before the live audience and judges. The catch? The judges have their chairs turned backward. This way, they can pick their favorites by the sound of their voice rather than their looks. Now, the clip you are about to see has to be one of the best blind audition of all time. One would never think that this young timid boy would have such a golden voice.
The Voice is a show full of surprises. You never know who is going to show up at that stage and wow the crowd. This young contestant sure made quite the impression during his blind audition.
Meet Jesse Pardon. The boy barely hit his teens when he tried out for The Voice of Holland Kids. But as soon as he hit the first note of his audition song, it was clear that Jesse had the cadence of a seasoned performer. His song of choice was none other than "Bohemian Rhapsody" by British rock band, Queen.
There are some songs that live forever, and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" is definitely one of them. The track is a staple on karaoke sessions and nightly sing-a-longs. It's highly addictive and energetic, something you just can't resist singing to whenever it plays on the speakers.
To hear Jesse sing "Bohemian Rhapsody" is an absolute joy. It just goes to show how the power of good music affects one generation after another. Jesse sings with so much passion, we're sure he would have made Freddie Mercury very proud!
As you may have guessed, Jesse got a four-chair turn after delivering that stunning performance. The audience even gave him a standing ovation when it was over. The overwhelming reaction was a well-deserved one. By the looks of it, Jesse looks like he's got a bright future in music.
Talk about talent! Jesse Pardon's "Bohemian Rhapsody" cover is definitely something you need to hear today.
