No One Can Believe What These Teens Do In A Hallway

A cappella superstar Pentatonix is a household name, but there’s another group of immensely talented singers who have become leaders in the contemporary a cappella movement. OneVoice is the a cappella group at Briarcrest Christian High School in Memphis, Tennessee, and they definitely do not sound like high schoolers.

They perform popular music of many styles and have even collaborated with multiple Grammy award winners, including New York Voices and Ben Bram. They’ve even been blessed to sing at the Emmys 70th Annual Governor’s Ball, The Sing-Off Live! Tour and the National A Cappella Convention.

Just a few years ago, OneVoice was blessed to become Sony recording artists with “Elvis A Cappella” alongside two groups from The Sing-Off: The AcoUstiKats from Season 4 and The Melodores, Season 5 champions. They also won the Macy’s All-School A Cappella Challenge judged by none other than No. 1 Billboard artist Pentatonix.

In 2016, more than 20 million people had the opportunity to watch them in action on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” They’ve since garnered millions of fans who love their exceptional talent.

In fact, so far in 2018, the group was nominated for three a cappella video awards and received nine awards for a variety of recording pieces. In the beginning of their video a male soloist steps forward in the hallway and graces us with his incredible sound. Several other soloists step forward and perform the lyrics to this glorious song.

“O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder consider all the works Thy Hand hath made. I see the stars, I hear the mighty thunder, Thy pow’r throughout the universe displayed. When through the woods and forest glades I wander, I hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees, when I look down from lofty mountain grandeur and hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze. Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee, How great Thou art! How great Thou art! Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee, How great Thou art! How great Thou art!”

The harmony this group highlights is simply outstanding. During the second half of the chorus, they all come together and sing multi-part harmony and sound truly amazing.
