During this installment of "Random Acts," a show where people give back to others selflessly, a group of BYU students in the a cappella group "Noteworthy" come together to show new mothers the grace of God. The group pretends to be a cluster of film interns working on a show about motherhood. But soon the script is flipped and the girls begin to serenade the exhausted women with a hauntingly beautiful rendition of "Amazing Grace."
The girls file into each room and pretend to set up sound and lighting equipment, but as soon as they ask for a mic check, they begin to sing. Knowing how much the women have been through, Noteworthy keeps their voices as soft and soothing as possible! Their rendition of "Amazing Grace" actually brings most of the new mothers to tears, as well as the host of the "Random Acts" show!
Although the serenade only lasted a few minutes, each mother is so grateful the girls stopped by. Their voices and the lyrics of the song remind them that they just made the world a little bit better by giving birth to the next generation of children! Listen to their incredible performances for yourself by pressing "play" on the video below - but beware, you may need a box of tissues for this one!
