The average American baby is 7.5 pounds at birth. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case for Chrissy Corbitt of Orange City, Florida. Chrissy's first three children were born weighing around 9 or 10 pounds each, so when she got pregnant for a fourth time, she assumed the baby would be the same weight.
As the pregnancy wore on, Chrissy felt even bigger than her other pregnancies. She couldn't tell if the weight was from her body, or the little one growing inside of her!
But when the day of her daughter's birth arrived the reason behind the dramatic weight gain became clear!
Chrissy's husband, Larry, told Inside Edition that her belly just kept expanding.
"The belly was getting bigger and bigger. It was like she had a huge beach ball and it was getting more and more inflated."
Her body couldn't keep the growing little one inside any longer and had a C-section one week before her due date!
