90-Year-Old Grandma Asks Grandson To Dance. Turns Around With Moves He'll Never Forget

Whitney Houston left a mark on the music industry that will never be forgotten. One of the people who was crushed by the loss of Whitney was a 90-year-old grandmother from Utah named Jeanne Harr.
With the help of her caretaker and grandson, Adam Forgie, she created a tribute to "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" that was sure to have Whitney smiling down from Heaven. Her tribute is absolutely adorable, just like her.
Most people don't know that this classic hit was actually written by George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam, the same group behind her record "How Will I Know." Whitney called back George and Shannon and asked them to create another song that would be perfect for her upcoming album.
After sending a new track over to Whitney and getting it sent back for suitability reasons, the pair came up with "I Wanna Dance With Somebody." The idea behind the song was to create a love story that went past "boy and girl meets in a club."
They were determined to depict a couple that wanted to "do the dance of life" together! That's how this hit song was created and why it topped the pop charts for so long!
With the camera rolling and Adam making sure she stayed in frame, Jeanne began to boogie to "I Wanna Dance With Somebody." But once she heard the actual title of the song, she demanded Adam come out from behind the camera and dance along with her.
These two are too funny to watch. Their dance moves are smooth and Jeanne is pretty impressive for a 90-year-old! The joy she evidently feels while dancing is simply adorable.
What's even more heartfelt is that Grandma is legally blind due to severe macular degeneration. She's also hard of hearing, which isn't uncommon in a 90-year-old, her grandson noted.
Her grandson said that one of the few things in life that makes his grandma happy is dancing. As you can see from the expressions fleeting across her face, that definitely appears to be true. She swings those arms, wiggles and jiggles to the music that moves her.
