Skating Duo Glide Across Ice, Stun Crowd With Rare Dance

When it comes to spectator sports, ice skating definitely tops the list as one of the most beautifully graceful sports to watch. It's a combination of both gymnastics and dancing - it takes a lot of skill and focus for a person to stay upright on those tiny, thin blades!
But, that's why Olympic-class ice skaters John and Sinead Kerr are part of this elite bunch. The skating duo performed a routine most wouldn't dare take on.
Scottish skating partners John and Sinead are brother and sister, and it's a good thing that they've learned to get along on the ice. They have exactly what it takes to entertain a crowd.
They're known for their freestyle dancing, which basically means that they've taken the "dance like nobody's watching" to the ice skating rink! It could have turned out to be a disaster, but this duo have enlisted the help of a professional choreographer to make sure that every one of their moves leave the audience gasping for more.
Their energetic routine definitely does not disappoint! It's full of unique tricks and smooth moves that cut across the glistening glassy ice.
At the 2008 World Figure Skating Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden, the pair practically lit the audience on fire and melted the ice with their sizzling hot performance. The siblings were both wearing skirts, but John could get away with it because he was donning a traditional kilt.
Their choice of costume and music are as Scottish as you can get, but there's nothing conventional about their slick moves. It's absolutely stunning!
There are times where it feels as if Sinead could fall on the ice with some of their risky tricks. Their ice skating choreography is mesmerizing to watch.
